Oxleas NHSFT is the lead provider NHS Trust for the London Pathways Partnership (LPP), a consortium of five London NHS Trusts delivering services primarily within the joint NHS/HMPPS Offender Personality Disorder Pathway (OPDP). The OPD pathway comprises a range of psychologically led services for men and women classified as presenting a high risk of harm to others with complex psychological difficulties which have historically been referred to as a personality disorder.
Within HMP Swaleside, LPP jointly delivers a range of OPD services with HMPPS partners. These include a Provision Psychologically Informed Planned Environment (PIPE) wing and an Enabling Environment wing. There is also a specialist therapies service providing interventions for personality disorder, complex trauma and offending behaviour and an outreach service for behaviourally challenging men who may spend protracted periods in segregation.
At HMP Standford Hill there is also a Psychologically Enhanced Resettlement Service (PERS) providing support to men on the OPDP as they transition from closed to open conditions and then on to the community.
